Then put your CMOS battery back, and boot into the BIOS and set all your other settings back. if it does, load optimized and save/apply/reboot back to the BIOS, once in the BIOS again set your SATA settings and anything else important you know you need to load windows, then boot into windows and shut down. Waited a few minutes, turned psu back on and hit power and now just starts up fans and all for a couple seconds (literally) 1.2 then shuts down and restarts, no POST nor not long enough for anything to happen really. The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device USB\VID_05AC&PID_1297&MI_00\0. Event viewer hasn't shown me any results that I understand, but I do see this. OR it detects it, I open it up, start transferring at ~50 mBps, and then very shortly thereafter my system locks up 100%, requiring a hard reboot. When I plug in a USB 3.0 bus powered hard drive, (WD, to be exact) my computer either doesn't detect the drive (the light goes on, the disk spins, even the "remove hardware" icon shows up in the system tray) but no dice in windows explorer. There have been a few threads around the internet, all talking about updating drivers, disabling a few things in bios, etc. I've had the system for a while but I haven't used the usb 3.0 ports until recently.
